A Full Japanese Tea Gathering (Chaji)

Chaji Experience is a four-hour course that lets you experience the most formal style of Japanese tea gathering: a traditional midday chaji.

From the waiting area (yoritsuki) to the first seating (shoza)—including charcoal service and a formal meal (kaiseki)—followed by an intermission (nakadachi) and the second seating (goza), where you will enjoy koicha (thick matcha) and usucha (thin matcha), you will take part in the complete flow of an authentic chaji.

Hosted and guided by a tea practitioner active internationally, this is an ultimate cultural experience—designed to bring you into the deepest world of chanoyu through careful explanation and attentive hospitality.
