These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Chaen (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By making a reservation or participating in our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Scope of Services
Chaen provides matcha and Japanese tea ceremony experiences for visitors. The content, duration, and format of each service are described on the respective service pages.
2. Reservations and Payment
Reservations must be made in advance through the designated booking method.
Payment must be completed by the date specified by the organizer.
Your reservation is confirmed only after payment has been successfully completed.
3. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Once payment has been completed, cancellations or refund requests due to customer circumstances cannot be accepted.
If a participant does not arrive at the scheduled start time without prior notice (no-show), the service will be considered canceled, and no refund will be issued.
If a service is canceled by the organizer, a full refund will be provided.
4. Late Arrival
Please arrive on time for your scheduled experience.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened experience or, depending on the situation, inability to participate.
No refunds will be provided due to late arrival.
5. Health and Safety
Participants are responsible for their own health and physical condition during the experience.
If you have any allergies, medical conditions, or physical limitations, please inform us in advance.
We reserve the right to refuse participation if we determine that continuing the experience may pose a risk to the participant or others.
6. Damage to Equipment or Facilities
Participants are expected to handle tea utensils, equipment, and facilities with care.
In the event of damage caused intentionally or through significant negligence, participants may be required to compensate for repair or replacement costs.
7. Photography and Recording
Photography and video recording may be restricted during certain parts of the experience.
Please follow the instructions provided by the host.
Recording for commercial purposes without prior permission is strictly prohibited.
8. Liability Disclaimer
Chaen shall not be held responsible for any injuries, accidents, loss, or damage to personal belongings occurring during the experience, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the organizer.
9. Language and Communication
Our services are conducted primarily in English.
While we strive to communicate clearly, we cannot guarantee full comprehension by all participants.
Participation implies acceptance of this condition.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising in connection with these services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Japanese courts.
